The possibility of changing the venue for the Champions League final has been denied by UEFA.

Why are flying foxes turning up in strange places?

The Daily Mail has reported that UEFA had considered alternative locations for the Champions League final, away from Istanbul.
UEFA has confirmed that the Champions League final will be held at the Olympic Stadium Ataturk Istanbul on June 10th, as previously established. This information has been verified by UEFA sources and reported to MARCA. UEFA has refuted The Daily Mail's claim that alternative locations were being considered due to potential post-election altercations. The governing body has clarified that there are no discussions taking place with any government or national soccer federation regarding a change of venue. Istanbul and the Ataturk stadium have been confirmed as the location for the match, despite previous inaccurate reports to the contrary. Istanbul was previously scheduled to host the 2020 final but due to the pandemic, the competition was concluded from the quarterfinals in Portugal, with the final in Lisbon. Last season, the final was held at Do Dragao and won by Chelsea. This year, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Inter, and AC Milan are all vying for a place in the final.
