Brentford vs Chelsea
A typically Garnacho Chelsea debut.
Alejandro Garnacho’s Chelsea debut was, well, very Garnacho to put it plainly.
He was positive, he attacked his full-back, played plenty of tempting balls into the box and had a key part in the build up to Moises Caicedo’s goal.
For Brentford, this is a morale booster: coming back late, taking advantage of tactics, and showing they can grind out results even when up against higher-profile opposition. It’ll help keep confidence up for upcoming fixtures.
For Chelsea, mixed feelings. They’ve shown they can dominate and fight back, but drop points like this (from a winning position) can hurt over the course of the season. They’ll need to tighten up their game-management, especially in closing stages.
