Mansfield vs Manchester City U21
My view on the match
I actually think this is a very interesting game for goals.
- Mansfield come in with good momentum: they beat Doncaster 2–1 on Saturday and have scored 11 goals in their last five matches.
- City U21 are also very attacking. Their recent results include 3–4 vs Man United U21, 3–2 vs Aston Villa U21, 3–1 vs Arsenal U21 and 3–0 vs Norwich U21.
- The big question is the experience/physicality advantage Mansfield have against a young City side. Mansfield are a League One team and have home advantage.
- On the other hand, City’s youngsters can cause serious problems technically and in transition.
