El Clásico is always huge drama — even when one side looks clearly better on the day. ⚽

I think FC Barcelona were the better side tactically and mentally from the start. Scoring twice early changed the entire rhythm of the match, and their pressing looked much sharper than Real Madrid’s buildup play.

A few things stood out:

Marcus Rashford gave Barcelona a direct attacking threat Madrid struggled to contain. His movement behind the defense created panic early.

Ferran Torres was very efficient with the chances he got and linked play well.

Barcelona’s midfield control was probably the biggest difference. They slowed the game whenever Madrid tried to build momentum.

Madrid looked affected by injuries and lacked intensity in transition. They had possession spells but not enough clear chances.

From a bigger-picture perspective, this felt like a statement win for coach Hansi Flick. Winning a Clásico that also seals the league title is massive psychologically.

For Madrid supporters, it’s probably frustrating because the team never really looked fully in control at any stage. But El Clásico swings quickly from season to season — one transfer window or tactical adjustment can change everything again.
