It was considered a very good match, especially for neutrals.
Entertainment value: Eight goals, a 0-0 at halftime that exploded into chaos in the second half, and a dramatic 95th-minute equaliser made it one of the most thrilling games of the Champions League opening round.
Emotional swings: Dortmund thought they had sealed the win at 4-2, but Juventus’ late comeback made it feel like a victory for them even though it ended 4-4.
Quality moments: Goals from Kenan Yıldız and Dusan Vlahović stood out, while both teams’ attacking play showed creativity and resilience.
From a tactical point of view, the defending was questionable — conceding four goals each shows problems at the back. But in terms of excitement and drama, it was an excellent spectacle.
