this was considered a good match, especially for neutrals and Madrid fans.
⚡ Entertainment value: There were five goals, including a spectacular Vinícius strike, Mastantuono’s first Real Madrid goal, and Mbappé’s stylish Panenka penalty followed by another quick finish. That variety of goals made it exciting.
🎭 Drama & storylines: Levante briefly made it interesting by pulling one back at 2-1, but Madrid’s instant response killed their momentum. Plus, there was some off-pitch tension — Levante’s captain publicly criticized Vinícius for his penalty celebration, which added spice.
🎯 Quality of play: Real Madrid showed sharpness, fluid attacking combinations, and good squad depth. Levante had their moments too (especially early on), which prevented it from being one-sided for the whole 90 minutes.
