My view: Würzburger Kickers vs FC Köln
I favour FC Köln, but I wouldn’t expect an easy game.
- Köln are the Bundesliga side, while Würzburger Kickers have just been promoted to the 3. Liga. That’s a significant quality gap.
- Würzburg have actually started their 3. Liga campaign well, taking 4 points from their first two matches, so they’re not coming into this completely out of form
- The match is sold out at the 12,100-capacity Akon Arena, so the home atmosphere could make this considerably more difficult for Köln.
