My view is that Portugal are slight favorites, but I expect a very competitive game.
- Portugal’s strengths: More attacking depth, creative midfielders, and players who can decide a match with a moment of brilliance.
- Croatia’s strengths: Excellent midfield control, tournament experience, and the ability to stay composed in tight knockout matches. Coach Zlatko Dalić has emphasized that the midfield battle will be more important than simply stopping Cristiano Ronaldo.
